In Grade 5, Poptropica English cools off on Ice Island - but the learning and fun continue! The compact Activity Book introduces new language in a lively and engaging context. Each unit includes vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, speaking and writing activities that ensure students can use newly acquired language in practical settings. The Activity Book also contains a variety of chants, comic strips, level-appropriate texts, games, projects and communicative activities – all designed to keep your students engaged and motivated.

The Activity Book is organized as follows:

In Grade 5, Poptropica English takes students to Ice Island, where their adventures in English continue with a new band of Poptropicans. The format might be familiar, but the characters and activities are different, and the language-learning challenges are new and motivating. Students progress in their competency development, broaden their vocabulary and build their confidence in speaking English.

Cool materials for older, more skilled learners
Poptropica 5 breaks the ice with a welcome unit and then develops students’ competencies around themes such as friends, shopping, party time, school and entertainment. The activity book has the same colourful, easy-to-use appeal as in previous grades, but the units are slightly longer to suit older learners. Students can refer to the accompanying Study Buddy to review their learning: a picture dictionary and sections on functional language, grammar and strategies recap target language.
